Is this AI?
Yes — but that's not the point of it. The pedagogy is built in, so you're not sitting in front of a blank box working out how to prompt anything. You give it an objective and where your pupils are; it does the rest. The AI is the engine, not the pitch.
Who is it for?
Mainstream UK primary teachers, TAs and HLTAs — anyone adapting a lesson for pupils working below the objective and short on planning time. It's built around KS1 and KS2 and the ability bands you already use.
Does it work by SEND diagnosis?
No, and deliberately so. Weftline adapts by where a pupil is working, not by a label. That keeps the output pedagogically sound, avoids stereotyping by condition, and means you never enter anything about an individual child.
Can I upload my planning?
Not yet. Uploading lesson plans and whole schemes of work is on the roadmap, but only once teachers tell us the core tool earns its place. For now it works from a single objective — which is usually all it needs.
What about pupil data?
Weftline never asks for, sees, or stores a pupil's name or any identifying detail. Only the learning objective and the ability levels ever leave your screen. There's nothing personal to protect because none is collected.
